Want to help your travelers make the right choices? By highlighting preferred vendors on the Egencia Web site, you can help your travelers make the desired choice for air, hotel and car bookings. Travelers can still book non-preferred suppliers, but the visual encouragement is usually enough to get users to make the right choice. And, as you know, when your travelers purchase from the right vendors, it becomes much easier to fulfill your negotiated agreement obligations and to negotiate other agreements.

It's just as easy to highlight preferred car rental companies through Company Tools and your policy settings. With cars you also have the ability to designate an order of priority between preferred vendors.
Hotels can only be highlighted as preferred if you have a negotiated rate with the hotel in your company name. If you have hotel negotiated rates that you'd like to highlight for your travelers, contact your Account Manager about the process.
Keep in mind that highlighting vendors as preferred does not block your travelers from booking non-preferred vendors. However, you can use policy settings to deter purchasing non-preferred vendors, or for extreme control you may want to consider using TripController™ for a pre-approval process.
